Resort Info
ALOHA KAKOU (Hello to all) and Welcome to one of Walt Disney World's Deluxe Resorts.
After you have made your long journey to Walt Disney World and have driven onto Disney property, you are overwhelmed by all that surrounds you. As you pass through the main entrance of the Magic Kingdom and work your way past the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), you turn into the driveway for Disney's Polynesian Resort. After pulling up to the valet you will be greeted with an Aloha.
If checking into concierge tell them as you pull up.
As.you approach the Great Ceremonial House (GCH) you feel like you are entering the Polynesian Cultural Center on the north shore of Oahu until you notice the famous Disney Monorail gliding overhead and making a stop in the lobby.
Club Level (concierge) guests will let the valet staff know they are staying concierge and they will load your luggage onto a cart to be taken to the Hawaii longhouse. All other guests will enter the lobby to check in at the front desk. Then they will go to the Island guide desk to pick up their lei and be directed to their cart to take them to their longhouse.

Dining
For some people the Polynesian is a destination not to stay at but to eat at. Many make a special trip to the Polynesian just for the food. It was even recommended in the 2001 Summer Issue of Disney Magazine to visit the Polynesian to eat. Lets see what the Polynesian has to offer when it comes to dining.
If you are hungry and don't want to leave your room, just about all the items that Kona Cafe and 'Ohana has is available through room service from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Guests may now book dining reservations at select locations via the Internet at www.disneyworld.com/dining. Guests may book select table service restaurants and dinner shows up to 90 days in advance and soon may book a limited number of special dining events, too. When making reservations online, Guests will need to provide the number of adults and children in the party as well as the ages of the children. Guests also should have credit card information available if the reservation they are booking requires pre-payment or a credit card guarantee. For party sizes of 10 or more, Guests should call (407) 939-7861 for reservations.
Tikiman Tip Like Dessert? Go to Kona Cafe and sample something they have for dessert, or get some chocolate coconut Mickeys at Samoa Snacks.
