Club Level Concierge

Club LevelClub Level Concierge (aka The King Kamehameha Club)  will start off with the Personal Vacation Itinerary. This is a great way to start off your planning for your trip and  will help with letting them know about special occasions or any room requests you may have as well as making reservations for dinners and shows.

conl21Personal Vacation Itineraries are emailed to the Club Level guests and guests with packages that receive itinerary planning. If you are one of these types of guests you still may not get one only because the Polynesian can only send you one if they have your email address. Some reservations are made staffwith out the address or phone number of the guests being given to the Polynesian. Also some groups (like grand gatherings) will only have one Itinerary go out to the person who set up the reservation instead of to everyone in the group. Reservations done by many wholesalers and sometimes Walt Disney Travel Company do not give out this information so that the itinerary can be sent to them directly. Other times the travel agents computer does not interface well with the Polynesian's data base. These may be the reason you never receive a call or a Personal Vacation Itinerary. No need to worry because you can contact the Island Planning office anytime after your booking.

In 2010 some of the Lagoon view rooms in Hawaii were changed to Theme Park view category. These will be rooms that have unobstructed views of the castle and will be a higher price then the Lagoon view rooms.

If you are a Club Level guest you can -mail the Polynesian at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Concierge guests can also call 407-824-2466.

To Fax the Planning Office use 407-824-3162

Planning Office is open from 9 AM to 6 PM every day, Eastern time (excluding holidays).

All guests can call the Polynesian call center at 407-824-2000. Dinner reservations can be made ahead of time by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

IMG_1956Club Level Concierge is one way to add to your Polynesian experience. You can go with a suite (located in Tonga longhouse) which are larger rooms that sleep 4 to 6 adults with plenty of room, or you can do a standard room with concierge service. The concierge desk and lounge are open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. This front desk is located on the 1st floor and lounge is located on the second floor, west end of the Hawaii building. In the Hawaii building you have your choice of garden view or lagoon view (additional charge for lagoon view). To see room rates for the Club level rooms go to the Hawaii Longhouse page or for suites go to the Tonga Suites page.

turndn01While staying at the Club Level you will have personalized front desk and guest services. Your room will have robes, phone in the bath area, data port on phone line, coffee maker minibar (small empty refrigerator), DVD players (as of July 2006) and nightly turndown service. Jogging strollers are also available to Club Level guests (first come first serve).

Your building will be secure and entry will only be possible with a concierge room key. Other longhouses are only locked in the evenings.

Below is a list of what has been available when I have been at the concierge but may not be exactly what is being served when you are there. The menu does change. Visitors to the lounge MUST have on shoes and a shirt at all times. It is against the policy to be in the lounge in bathing suites and no one wants to see you in your robe.

IMG_0931The Hawaii longhouse added the concierge in the early 90's after moving it from the lobby. The concierge (now called Club Level) was first introduced at the Polynesian before any other resort had a concierge level. It has grown and always been the model for other resorts. It puts on quite a display during Christmas with the decorations in the lounge and other holidays like 4th of July get their own special treats in the lounge.

The plastic bottles of water have been replaced with Natura water dispensers but you can also ask for a glass bottle of this new water to take to your room. The bottles of water are no longer out because of too many being found unused and stashed in rooms after check-out. Other items and services have been and will be removed with abuse from guests.

conl14You will have access to the lounge area for:

  • Kakahiaka (morning service) 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. offering muffins, croissants, bagels, tropical fruit, cereal, oatmean with brown sugar, granola and dried fruit to top it off with, milk, orange juice, pineapple guava juice, ice tea, coffee drinks and hot chocolate from the new coffee machine, glass bottles of water, and toasters are available. Yogurt available as well as other items by request. Just ask at the counter.

The concierge staff has a saying. "Oke aloha ke kuliana okahi malihini." (Love is the host in strange lands.)

Concierge Lounge
IMG_0932The lounge area has changes as of December 2006. There was a major change to the lounge in October 2005 and they have completed the change with new furniture and a new arrangement. Both the lounge area and the 3rd floor sitting area now looks different.

The Cast Members in the lounge and some of the nicest people you will meet at the Polynesian. Treat them as you would a friend.

IMG_1014The lounge is a big part of what makes Club Level so special. It is a great place to relax, read, enjoy the snacks and drinks and view the Seven Seas Lagoon. At night you can View the fireworks and the music is on the speakers in the lounge. IMG_1013Even if you don't book a Lagoon view room you have a place to enjoy the show.

The offerings in the lounge mostly stay the same but can have some changes from time to time. Also from night to night different things are offered. The list above was an example of what is typically offered. They also will offer some sugar free desserts. There is also a nice selection of items for kids throughout the day.

There are many things you can ask for also that they will not have out. If there is something you are looking for, just ask.
